LORD, hasten to my aid.
May those who seek to kill me
be shamed and sore dismayed.
May all who seek my hurt be
turned back in their disgrace.
May all who say “Aha!” turn
in shame, their steps retrace. - But may all those who seek you
rejoice, in you be glad;
may those who love salvation
say, “God be magnified!”
Yet I am poor and needy;
come quickly, God, I pray.
O LORD, my help and Savior,
make haste. Do not delay.
