Praise to the LORD! I Will Extol Him
- Praise to the LORD! I will extol him
amidst the holy company.
Great are the works of God, and pondered
by all who view them joyfully. - Glorious and mighty are his actions,
his justice is forevermore.
He made his wondrous works remembered,
most kind and gracious is the LORD. - Good food he gives to those who fear him;
his covenant forever stands.
He shows his works to all the people,
rewards them with the nations’ lands. - All of his works are just and faithful;
his precepts have full certainty.
They will stand fast, enduring ever,
performed with truth and equity. - He sent redemption for his people,
his covenant he did ordain
that it should stand secure forever;
revered and holy is his name. - Fear of the LORD gives rise to wisdom
for all who walk in upright ways;
all who obey have understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise!
